Chunky Amethyst Pendant

This highly translucent amethyst gemstone is particularly fascinating because of its zones of colour.  This characteristic is quite common in amethyst.

When held up towards the light, subtle wisps of purple appear to be suspended within colourless quartz.  The transformation from clear to purple is really quite magical.
