Amazonite Crafted in Sterling Silver

Amazonite pendant featuring a a highly polished stone mounted in fine sterling silver.

The name amazonite is a misnomer because the stone that was actually found by the river Amazon was nephrite jade. Whilst being named it somehow became mixed up with this blue-green variety of microcline.  Although found in Brazil, amazonite cannot be found anywhere near to the Amazon.

When used for its metaphysical properties amazonite is powerfully protective and dissipates negative energy.  It also  alleviates worry, anxiety and fear.
