Kambaba Jasper Pendant
Kambaba Jasper from Madagascar
Kambaba Jasper pendant crafted for Stone Mania in a fine sterling silver setting. This finely cut cabochon exhibits deep colours and wonderful swirling patterns both of which are typical for this gemstone variety. This ladies pendant has been added to our collection of sale jewellery in the Bargain Basement because the shape of the gemstone is not perfectly symmetrical so with careful inspection the bale at the top appears to be slightly off centre. Having said that you'll need look carefully to spot it.
Kambaba Jasper is a relatively rare type of rock that comes exclusively from Madagascar. Its geological make-up stems from a stromatolite which is a rock-like structure that forms in shallow seas and is built up from bacteria that has gradually been replaced by silica. Some of these fossils are said to date back around three billion years and for this reason, in crystal healing Kambaba Jasper is said to be a deeply earthing stone which harmonises its wearer to the natural cycles of the earth.
This highly polished gemstone makes a wonderfully unique ladies pendant and because of the colours in Kambaba Jasper in tends to be particularly popular during the Autumn and Winter months.
