Hand Crafted Unakite Pendant
A small and comfortably light weight unakite pendant featuring a highly polished gemstone.
Named after the Unaka Range of Mountains in North Carolina and Tennessee where the stone was first discovered, unakite is a colourful stone used primarily for decorative purposes. Composed of pink orthoclase, green epidote, the mineral feldspar and usually quartz, it's a type of granite so is fairly hard which makes it a relatively easy stone to work with.
Having been carefully chosen by one of the team at Stone Mania, this unakite cabochon was then mounted as a ladies pendant in a fine sterling silver setting. All workmanship on our collection of gemstone pendants is carried out by a small team of artisans with whom we have been working for almost twenty years.
