Zebra Jasper pendant featuring a fascinating black and white gemstone that's a type of marble from Rajasthan in India. Although believed to be the only place in the world where this variety of jasper is found, there is another stone called Zebra Marble with a similar appearance that comes from Utah in the USA but geologically the make up of the two is believed to be different.
Black and white gemstones are particularly distinctive but only a few minerals with this colouration can be found around the world. Snowflake obsidian is possibly the best known but the snowflake-like inclusions which give this stone its name tend to be more grey than white. The starkness of the black and white colouration found in zebra jasper are what really makes this stone so unique.
