Blue Agate Not Blue Lace

Blue agate is often confused for blue lace agate but it's not the same stone.  With that said, were they to be mixed together it would difficult to tell them apart.

The main difference is the markings which are more prominent in blue lace agate.  Blue agate is far more common than blue lace.

Colour and markings in all types of agate vary depending on where the stone is mined.  The blue agate crystals in our collection come from South Africa.
