In our photos the internal crystal structure looks quite grey. Unfortunately that's because of our lighting and the way the camera interacts with the quartz.
There is a very small filling of resin (half a millimetre in size) on one side close to the base. Crystals like this are so beautiful it's easy to forget they're millions of years old. The filling can just be seen on the lower left side in our first photo.
This piece has only been lightly polished so as not to remove more material than absolutely necessary.
