Two beautifully polished jasper cabochons with exceptional colour. Cut for Stone Mania from the same piece of rock, this stone comes from the Pilbara region in the north of Western Australia. This part of the country is known for its red earth, vast mineral deposits and an abundance of iron ore. Iron ore are rocks and minerals from which iron can be extracted.
These highly polished cabochon gemstones have a vitreous lustre. Stones with this type of lustre reflect light in a similar way to glass. The bottom of each stone has an incredibly smooth texture but the lustre is dull meaning it does not reflect light.
These two colourful jasper cabochons are being offered for sale separately. The stone on the left is number 1 in the adjacent dropdown list.
