Rough Lepidolite Mica from Brazil
128 grams of lustrous purplish-pink lepidolite mica. The maximum weight of any one piece is 2 grams. These very small pieces collectively make a great display. They're not ideally suited to being handled because of their size.
Silvery inclusions that resemble glitter shed very easily. This is another reason why lepidolite mica should be handled as little as possible.

Lepidolite is part of the mica group of minerals. They're also known as silicate minerals or sheet silicates because they form in distinctive layers or sheets. Small flakes of mica break away very easily. They're used in most cosmetics to add shimmer or sparkle. A single flake can be seen in our second photo.
Lepidolite mica reflects light from every angle but it's not easy to capture in a photo.
The display stand is not included.
