Kambaba Polished Stones from Madagascar

Four striking kambaba stones cut as cabochons.  Each piece has been beautifully polished.   

Kambaba jasper as this material is also known comes from Kabamba in Madagascar.  It has not been found anywhere else in the world.

It takes on a high polish and is widely used for decorative purposes.

These four cabochons are grade A gemstones.

Note 1

The bottom of stone 4 has some minor damage so is being offered at a reduced price.  There's a small indentation on one side and also on one corner.  The imperfections cannot be seen from the top of the stone.
