A unique and distinctive stone that cannot be found anywhere else in the world. Finding accurate information about kambaba jasper however has not been easy. Whilst there's no shortage of articles to read online, many focus on the stone's metaphysical properties. Any scientific information that is included tends to be vague or lacks accuracy.
Before writing anything about the stones featured in our collection we want to be certain the information is factual and accurate. We therefore do a huge amount of research before publishing anything at all.
Having read countless articles about kabamba stone as this material is also known, there was so much conflicting information. Having finally managed to speak with a mineralogist who had worked in Madagascar and was familiar with kambaba jasper (or stone), we finally understood the reason for the confusion.
The root of the problem came from the fact that kambaba jasper also known as kabamba was being confused with kabamby ocean jasper. Often known simply as ocean jasper, this stone has a completely different geological makeup and looks nothing like kambaba. They're also mined in different regions. One comes from a place called Kabamba, the other from Kabamby.
Our kambaba jasper tumbled stones are size medium but weights and sizes do vary slightly from piece to piece.
Empathic warriors are stones which have at some point in time sustained some kind of damage, usually a chip or fracture. With rocks and minerals having evolved over millions of years we do not believe in throwing them away. These pieces are available to buy at a significantly reduced price. Empathic warriors are not always available. More information can be found in our article on empathic warrior crystals.
