Magical Quartz Crystal Point

This transparent quartz crystal boasts a vitreous lustre and fascinating sections of  crystallisation. Colourless quartz that's translucent or transparent is also known as rock crystal.  The problem however with this type of quartz is that it can be quite challenging to photograph well even for the most accomplished photographer. 

Quartz formations generally take several thousand years to grow and sometimes considerably longer.  When polished they can be quite spectacular and terminated points and clusters are popular with rock and mineral enthusiasts, collectors and those with an interest in crystal healing.

There are some tiny imperfections on the largest face of this terminated quartz point but part of the beauty of natural minerals is that they're rarely ever perfect.  In crystal healing minerals with 'imperfections' irrespective of how they've been caused are known empathic warriors and they're amongst some of the strongest in relation to energy. This is because they are said to have come through their own battles and are still beautiful enough to attract our attention and many people are drawn specifically towards crystals with 'battle scars'.  Quartz is considered to be one of the most powerful of all healing crystals and a terminated point can either draw energy away from the body or channel it inwards.
