Banded Amethyst Slices Grade A

Beautifully polished grade A banded amethyst slices. Produced from material mined in South Africa.

Pieces vary in size from small to medium.  Although polished some do have broken edges.  These are natural unworked stones that have been lightly polished.  

Outside of the UK this mineral tends to be known as chevron amethyst.  The name comes from the distinctive v-shaped or chevron-like patterns.

This striking mineral combines amethyst and milky white quartz. 

These translucent banded amethyst stones are incredibly tactile.  They can be used for display purposes or for their healing properties.
