Grade A Prehnite Crystals
The mineral prehnite has a subtle pastel green colour. It's often found with distinctive black inclusions which may be epidote, tourmaline or amphibole. Grade A crystals tend to be relatively free from inclusions.
When used for its metaphysical properties prehnite enhances visualisation whilst in a deeper state of meditation. For those who like organisation it ensures you're prepared for whatever comes your way.
Prehnite helps overcome obsessive behaviour and will encourage you to let go of possessions you no longer need. A stone of tidiness and organisation, it's the perfect crystal for those with a tendency to hoard.
Said to alleviate nightmares and deep psychological fears, prehnite is calming and gentle. A small collection of crystals in the busiest area of your home will encourage warmth and tranquility.
Although brittle, prehnite is a relatively hard crystal that grades 6 to 6.5 on Mohs scale. It occurs in veins and cavities of certain volcanic rocks.
These larger sized tumbled stones have the smoothest texture and reflect light beautifully. Size can vary from piece to piece which is normal for stones produced in a rock tumbler.
Prehnite can be found in several countries around the world including the United Kingdom. Large quantities of gem grade material comes from the Northern Territories in Australia.
We also have grade A prehnite crystals in medium sizes as well as prehnite with a more distinctive inclusion.
