Rough Lemurian Quartz Crystals
Lemurian quartz crystals are highly sought after for their purported metaphysical healing properties.
This type of quartz is relatively rare and to date has only been found in Colombia, Peru and Brazil.
"Lemurian seed crystal" is often used as an alternative name but from research we've carried out it seems the two are not exactly the same.
The main difference between lemurian quartz and lemurian seed crystals appears to relate to the striations on the crystal faces.
The striations which can sometimes be felt as well as seen are often used to identify lemurian quartz. With that said, not all lemurian quartz has striations.
This variety of quartz was discovered as recently as the early 1990's.
All three of these lemurian quartz crystals are exceptionally translucent.
