Beautiful tigers eye pendant designed in a handmade sterling silver setting.

This carefully chosen stone was cut from material sourced in South Africa.  Fascinatingly chatoyant on both sides, it's highly polished and comfortably lightweight.

Chatoyance is an optical phenomenon seen in certain rocks and minerals.  It's best known for being present in tiger eye and chrysoberyl.  As the stone reflects light colour and markings appear to move.    

Tiger eye also known as tigers eye is an old time favourite in the world of rocks and minerals.  The world's largest deposits are in South Africa and Western Australia.
