Blue Topaz Pendant in Sterling Silver
Two beautiful blue topaz pendants crafted in an elegant sterling silver setting. The bale of the pendants features our own SM sterling silver hallmark from the London Assay Office.
Both sky blue topaz stones have a concave cut. This type of cut involves cutting facets that curve inwards to scatter more light towards the centre of the gemstone.
Topaz that has been cut in this way is lighter in weight because a considerable amount of the stone is lost. Cutting concave facets is labour intensive and complicated but the end result is really quite impressive.
The blue topaz pendants in our collection have all been crafted entirely by hand.
Despite topaz being a relatively hard stone it's also very fragile. Stones are known to chip or break easily which makes cutting and polishing the gemstone more difficult.
The blue topaz pendant on the left in our photos is number 1 in the dropdown list.
Either pendant may be worn on one of our Italian made sterling silver snake chains. Buy both together and save £2 on the price of the chain.
