Rough Moonstone (Possibly Albite)
Although sold as 'moonstone,' this rough stone is likely to be a type of plagioclase (play-jee-oh-klayz) feldspar rather than true moonstone.
Plagioclase is a group of feldspar minerals with compositions ranging from albite, which is rich in sodium, to anorthite, which is rich in calcium.
Based on its colour, texture, and lack of classic moonstone adularescence, this rough 'moonstone' is most likely albite.
We only have nine pieces available, and each stone was individually chosen. All nine are in our first photo.
