Rough Rose Quartz from Brazil
Premium-grade rose quartz from Brazil. These chunky stones have been coated with a fine, colourless resin, a common practice that stabilises the surface, improves durability, and makes them more suitable for handling and display.
Brazil is one of the world’s largest producers of rose quartz. Most material comes from the states of Minas Gerais, Bahia, and Goiás
All three of these rough rose quartz stones were carefully chosen for our collection.
Rose quartz stone 2 has a natural overgrowth of clear quartz in some areas. This formed during a later growth stage, when silica-rich fluids only reached parts of the surface, and the conditions responsible for the pink colour were no longer present.
