Natural Citrine Crystals - Brazil
Premium-grade, natural citrine crystals, individually chosen for colour and quality.
These tumbled stones have been polished to a vitreous lustre, with no two pieces the same.
We often find that stones tumbled in Brazil are not always finished quite as well as those from South Africa, where most of our tumbled stones are produced.
Therefore, some have minor pitting or natural surface anomalies.
These high-grade natural citrine crystals have a glass-like texture, making them wonderfully tactile.
The colour of this relatively rare variety of quartz can vary depending on where it's mined. While citrine is often believed to have a distinct yellow hue, it can range from pale yellow to orange to brown.
Diaphaneity in these crystals varies from highly translucent to almost opaque, depending on inclusions.
Although classed as a medium-sized tumbled stone, size does vary from piece to piece. Some are on the smaller side. Different sizes within a size group is common for stones produced in a rock tumbler.
All the crystals we currently have are in our second photo.
We also have larger sizes available, which are here.
