Sapphire Necklace

These stunning Sapphires from Madagascar have the most magnificent deep blue colour.  Each gemstone has been faceted and strung entirely by hand and sparkles beautifully as it catches the light but sadly due to our lack of expertise behind the camera, we have not been able to capture this magical sparkle in our photo.

The base for this double line of precious Sapphires is a fine silicon twine which is much stronger and more resilient than the cotton thread normally used with this style of Sapphire necklace.

Each of the Sapphires in this radiant necklace is subtly graduated in size with the smallest Sapphire being approximately 2mm x 1.5mm and the largest 6mm x 4mm.  Both the lobster clasp and findings are eighteen carat white gold.

The length of this breathtaking necklace is 45.5 cms although there are a few extra rings so it could be worn as long as 47cms.  At  30.6 grams, this Sapphire necklace is pretty impressive.  The carat weight is 153.
