Unakite boasts two wonderfully bold colours, a deep salmon pink and rich pistachio green and together they make a fantastically striking gemstone. A variety of Granite, Unakite is quite readily available yet still relatively unknown hence it is rarely found used in jewellery. It is made up of a combination of pink Feldspar, green Epidote and Quartz and because it's quite hard, it's perfect for use in jewellery. This stylish gemstone is beautifully smooth and has a dull lustre as opposed to being obviously highly polished. It has been mounted in fine sterling silver. Weight (grams): 14.4
