Turquoise Silver Ring

This highly polished piece of Turquoise boasts magnificent colour and markings, it is mounted in a chunky sterling silver setting and is incredibly comfortable to wear.  Designed and made exclusively for Stone Mania, this Turquoise ring is a one off piece and hence is not available in other sizes.   

Turquoise is believed to be one of the first gemstones ever to have been mined and its origins can be traced to the Sinai Peninsula as early as 6000 BC where it was being mined by the Ancient Egyptians.  Turquoise was also found in Egyptian burial chambers dating from around 3000 BC and the most famous Egyptian artifact in which it was found, was the burial mask of King Tutankhamun.

This tantalizing Turquoise ring is a size L and and it is important to be aware that silver rings with wider shanks do have a tendency to slide on very easily, but then they don't always come off quite as easy as they went on.  The reason for this is because a suction builds up between the ring and your finger so never force one of these rings on and if you are having difficulty removing it, always use soap to help ease it off.

To help prevent the the build up of tarnish, we recommend regularly using a silver polishing cloth, silver dips or other chemical cleaning solutions should not be used as they will damage Turquoise.
