Amethyst semi precious stones have been used as gemstone jewellery for hundreds of years and purple has long been considered to be a colour of royalty. Due to our limited photographic skills, the deep purple colour in this Amethyst pendant has not come out as well in our photo as we would have liked it to. This Amethyst does however have a magnificent rich purple colour and it's also fascinatingly translucent so by holding it up to the light, you can see some of its crystallization which makes it even more fascinating.
