Sapphire Necklace

This Madagascan Sapphire necklace is the 'finest' string of Sapphires that we have available.  These gemstones have breathtaking colour and being perfectly faceted, they really come alive as they catch the light.  Unfortunately due to our photographic capabilities, we have not been able to capture just how magical these Sapphires as they sparkle. 

This Sapphire necklace appears to be slightly thicker than it actually is in our photo as a result of it being photographed quite close up to give the best possible view of the gemstones.  The size of these Sapphires is approximately 1.5 x 1mm. 

The Sapphires in this deliciate necklace have been strung by hand on to a fine silicon twine which is much stronger and more resilient than the cotton thread which is ususally used with these type of necklaces.  Made exclusively for Stone Mania, this Sapphire necklace fastens with an eighteen carat white gold lobster clasp.

The length of this Sapphire necklace is 42.5cms although there are a few extra rings so it could be worn as long as 44.5cms.  Both elegant and dainty, it weighs 7.4 grams and the carat weight is 37 carats.
