Banded Amethyst Pendant

Banded Amethyst is a variety of Amethyst which is rarely seen in jewellery or in any other product.  This gemstone variety is also known as Chevron Amethyst or Amethyst Quartz and is often confused with Blue John which is an extremely rare variety of Fluorite from Derbyshire, England.

This piece of Banded Amethyst  has been reduced because it was slightly damaged whilst being mounted and the area in question can be seen in our photo.

Everyone loves a bargain so instead of re cutting this piece of Banded Amethyst, we have reduced it.
