Amethyst Earrings

Amethyst is a popular and well known gemstone variety and it's the birthstone for the month of February.  Fascinatingly translucent, Amethyst is one of the most most highly sought after varieties of Quartz.  It's colour is however quite delicate so excessive exposure to bright sunlight should be avoided to ensure the colour of this ancient gemstone doesn't fade.
