Contract for Sale
A contract will come into place when an order for jewellery is placed through Stone Mania online (stonemania.co.uk). The contract with us will not be contractually confirmed until you receive confirmation of your order in the form of an email and payment has been made. These terms and conditions cannot be varied except by changes made by Stone Mania on the site, which we may make from time to time. In particular, nothing said by any representative of Stone Mania will operate as a variation to these terms and conditions or constitutes a legal representation on behalf of them.
Receipt of an Order
Payment for jewellery purchased from Stone Mania online at www.stonemania.co.uk must be received and have cleared before any order can be processed. Once payment has been made, you will receive confirmation from us via email. This does not confirm that your payment has cleared. The email confirming the order must be retained for your records. Stone Mania reserves the right to refuse to supply any person for whatever reason. All jewellery is thoroughly inspected prior to being dispatched. Jewellery is normally dispatched within seven working days from the time payment has cleared although in the vast majority of cases, it is dispatched sooner. Orders for jewellery which are placed via email will not be accepted.
Prices & Availability of Goods
All prices are quoted in pounds sterling (GBP £) and any customs duties or levies in your destination country as a result of items being sent overseas, will be your responsibility. Whilst we make every effort to ensure that prices and details on our website are accurate, data entry errors and other technical problems may result in inaccurate prices being shown. In such cases we are not required to honour the price. If you see any price which you believe to be inaccurate, please contact us to bring it to our attention.
Conformity of Goods
Although we make every effort to ensure our photos are as accurate as possible, you may find some pieces of jewellery appear to be slightly larger or smaller than they actually are so it is important to read and understand the measurements which appear next to each piece of jewellery which is being offered for sale. The colour of a gemstone may also vary slightly which can be as a result of a computer monitor or the lighting under which it was photographed. We cannot accept any responsibility for any variation in colour of a gemstone irrespective of how it has been caused. As well as a photograph of the piece of jewellery which is being offered for sale, its dimensions and weight are also stated. Please be sure to read Shopping Online before placing an order.
Stone Mania guarantees your total satisfaction with any piece of jewellery that you have purchased from us online as well as the standard of customer service which is offered. If for any reason you are not entirely satisfied with the jewellery that you have purchased online, we will offer a full refund excluding any postage fees providing the item/s are:
- Returned to us within 30 days of the date the order was delivered (excluding items over £200)
- In the original packaging
- In exactly the same condition as when they were sent
For hygiene reasons we do not exchange or refund earrings.

Items Over £200 (sterling)
Should you wish to return an item of jewellery that has been purchased online from Stone Mania at www.stonemania.co.uk which exceeds the value of £200, it must be returned within 10 working days of the day it was delivered in order to be eligible for a full refund excluding postage fees.
Returning an Item
If you need to return an item of jewellery to us which has been purchased online from Stone Mania at www.stonemania.co.uk, please send us an email advising us of the item/s that are being returned, when they were purchased and the reason for the return. Items of jewellery up to £200 must be returned within 30 days of the date they were delivered and those over £200 must be returned within 10 working days. For all returns with the exception of damaged items, you will be liable for all postage fees. It is your responsibility to ensure items of jewellery reach us in the exact condition as when they were dispatched. You will be held entirely responsible for any loss or damage which may occur during transit. We strongly recommend that all items of jewellery be fully insured when being posted back to us. Upon receiving a returned item, it will be thoroughly inspected and providing it is found to be in the exact condition as when it was dispatched, a refund (excluding postage fees) or exchange will be arranged. Monies will only be returned in the same way by which they were received. Please be aware that refunds through PayPal can take between seven and ten days to process.
Defective and Damaged Items
In the unlikely event that you should receive a piece of jewellery from Stone Mania which is defective or damaged, please contact us immediately and return the item/s so that we can try to resolve any issues as quickly as possible. This will be done by either arranging a replacement or refunding the amount which you have paid including your return postage fee but you MUST contact us first to agree the postage fee and service to be used. Please be aware that many gemstones have minor flaws, inclusions and other marks which are completely natural and these do not render it defective. Where possible, we will always highlight any anomaly in the item's description.
Accepted Methods of Payments
Payment for items purchased online from Stone Mania at www.stonemania.co.uk may be made using UK credit and debit cards including but not limited to VISA, MasterCard, Switch, Maestro and American Express. Credit card payments must be made through Google Checkout or PayPal. You may also make payment using your own online banking service and also through Barclays Pingit. No item of jewellery will be dispatched until payment has been received and cleared.
