By placing an order online at stonemania.co.uk for any item of gemstone jewellery you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to, all of our terms and conditions.  These terms and conditions are governed by English Law and you agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.  Stone Mania is domiciled in the UK and makes no warranty to anyone who places an order from outside of the UK that this website complies with any non UK laws or regulations and no local promotions will apply to these products.

Contract for Sale

A contract will come into place when an order is placed through stonemania.co.uk for a piece of jewellery. The contract with us will not be contractually confirmed until you receive confirmation of your order in the form of an email.  This will be sent once a payment has been received through PayPal. These terms and conditions cannot be varied except by changes made by Stone Mania on the site, which we may make from time to time. In particular, nothing said by any representative of Stone Mania will operate as a variation to these terms and conditions or constitutes a legal representation on behalf of them.

Receipt of an Order

Payment for items of jewellery purchased on the Stone Mania website must be received in full through PayPal before your order can be processed.  Once payment has been received, you will receive confirmation from us via email. This must be retained for your records.  Stone Mania reserves the right to refuse to supply any person for whatever reason. Orders are thoroughly inspected prior to being dispatched. All items are normally dispatched within seven working days from the time payment has been received.  Orders sent to us via email will not be accepted.

Prices & Availability of Goods

All prices for items of jewellery are quoted in pounds sterling (GBP £) and any customs duties or levies in your destination country as a result of items being sent overseas, will be your responsibility.  Whilst we make every effort to ensure that prices and details of jewellery on our website are accurate, data entry errors and other technical problems may result in inaccurate prices being shown.  In such cases we are not required to honour the price.  If you see any price which you believe to be inaccurate, please contact us to bring it to our attention.

Conformity of Goods

Although we make every effort to ensure pictures featured on our website are as accurate as possible, you may find some items appear to be slightly larger or smaller than they actually are so it is important to read and understand the measurements which are stated with each item being offered for sale.  Colours may also vary slightly which can be as a result of a computer monitor or the lighting under which an item was photographed. We cannot accept any responsibility for any variation in colour of a gemstone irrespective of how it has been caused.  As well as a photograph of the item being offered for sale, its dimensions and weight are also stated.  Please be sure to read 'Shopping Online' before placing an order.

Satisfaction Guarantee

Stonemania.co.uk (Stone Mania) guarantees your total satisfaction with any item of jewellery that you purchase from us as well as the standard of customer service.   If for any reason you are not entirely satisfied with your online purchase, we will offer a full refund (excluding ALL postage fees) providing the item/s are:

• Returned to us within seven working days of the date you received your order
• In the original packaging
• In EXACTLY the same condition as when they were sent
• That the purchase price does not exceed the value of £150 sterling
  

For hygiene reasons we do not exchange or refund earrings

Items Exceeding £250 sterling

Refunds will not be issued for any single item of jewellery over two hundred and fifty pounds sterling.  If you wish to return an item which exceeds this amount, we will offer to exchange the item for something of an equivalent value or alternatively issue a credit note which will be valid for three months from date of issue.

Returning an Item

If you need to return an item to us which has been purchased through the stonemania.co.uk website, please send us an email advising us of the item/s that are being returned, when they were purchased and the reason for the return.  We will only discuss the return with the person who originally made the purchase.  Items must be returned within seven working days of the date they were received.  For ALL returns you will be liable for all postage fees.  It is your responsibility to ensure items reach us in the exact condition as when dispatched. You will be held entirely responsible for any loss or damage which may occur during transit. We strongly recommend items are returned using Royal Mail's 'Special Delivery' service or an alternative courier service.  Upon receipt of a returned item, it will be thoroughly inspected and providing it is found to be in the exact condition as when it was dispatched, a refund (excluding ALL postage fees) or exchange will be arranged.

Defective and Damaged Items

In the unlikely event that you should receive a piece of jewellery from Stone Mania which is defective or damaged, please contact us immediately and return the item/s within seven working days of the date it/they were received. We will then endeavor to resolve any issues as quickly as possible by arranging a replacement or refunding the amount paid (including postage fees).  Please be aware that natural gemstones often have minor flaws, inclusions or marks which may be completely natural and as such, any such defect on or within a gemstone does not render it defective.  Should any such item be returned to us, we will gladly offer a full refund excluding all postage fees.

Accepted Methods of Payments

Payment for items purchased through the Stone Mania website may be made using UK credit and debit cards including but not limited to VISA, MasterCard, Switch, Maestro and American Express.  All payments are processed through PayPal.  Alternatively you may also pay through online banking.  Once you have placed your order, please contact us to request our bank details

Your Details and Data

Your privacy as an individual and as a customer is very important to us.  We DO NOT use the information you provide on this site to learn any more about you other than what is required to fulfill your order.  We do not combine your individual information with any kind of site analysis but we do look at the overall browsing behaviour of our customers to improve the way the site navigates.  Nor do we track your behaviour on any other sites or follow you once you've left stonemania.co.uk.  We do however use cookies to help us provide a personalized service.  Any personal data gathered by us during your use of this site will be recorded electronically and only used in accordance with the UK Data Protection Act 1998.  Information will be used solely to complete the delivery of your goods and to provide you with full customer service and also to compile accounting and other records.

Cookies

Disclaimer

Stone Mania continuously works to keep the site up to date but cannot guarantee that this site and its contents are completely free from technical errors. By using this site you acknowledge that you assume full responsibility for all costs associated with all necessary servicing or repairs of any equipment you use in connection with this site.  Neither can we be held liable for any damages associated with the use of this site however caused or incorrect prices or information.  If you are not satisfied with the site, then please email us with your comments/suggestions.  However your only legal recourse is to stop using the site.

Cooling off Period

Customers are legally entitled to cancel an order within seven working days of receipt of the product and to return it for a full refund (excluding original postage costs) providing it is returned in the exact condition as when dispatched.  This site and its contents will not constitute the basis for any contractual commitment between Stone Mania and any prospective customer in any jurisdiction in which the solicitation of interest or the offering of or sale of products by Stone Mania would contravene any applicable local, regional or national legislation.  No prospective customer should seek to make any order through the site from jurisdictions in which it would be illegal for Stone Mania to sell products.

Legal Governance

Your use of this site and any contract between you and Stone Mania for the sale of products shall be governed by and shall be construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of England and Wales. If any provision of these terms and conditions shall be unlawful, void or for any reason unenforceable, then that provision shall be deemed severable for these terms and conditions and shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any remaining provisions.
