All of the jewellery featured on our website has been photographed by us and each picture is of the actual item being offered for sale.  Whilst we do our best to ensure photos are of the highest quality and as true to life as possible, we must emphasize that photographing gemstones is no easy task.  Colours can occasionally appear to be less vibrant or a shade lighter or darker than they actually are and stones which are iridescent or chatoyant can also prove to be a real challenge.  Shape and size can also be misleading due to the angle at which an item is photographed, so please be sure to check measurements thoroughly which are always included with each item.  In all measurements, length is given first followed by the width.  The bale and ring to which it is attached, is not included in any measurements.  In the case of earrings, the hook is excluded in the measurement given.

The price of many of our cabochon gemstones is calculated according to weight.  Having said that, please be aware that the price per gram of our faceted gemstones and also some of our rarer cabochon varieties, are slightly higher.  The price of earrings is not determined by weight.   

When browsing our catalogue, please do not assume that a slightly unusual shape, colour or marking must be as a result of the photo because it may actually be like that in reality!  Should you have any questions about something you are considering purchasing, please contact us before proceeding and we will respond in as much detail as possible.  If you're unsure about anything at all, please ask before making a purchase.

Any item purchased from us online should be dispatched within seven working days although often it will be disptached sooner.  Should there be any query over a payment, nothing will be sent until this has been resolved.

With regards to delivery, orders up to the value of £30.00 will be sent by Royal Mail's 'signed for' service and those over £30.00 will be sent by 'special delivery'.  Either way a signature should always be requested upon delivery.  Please refer to our 'Shipping Policy' for further details including fees.
