This page gives detailed information on the ordering and returns policy for items of gemstone jewellery purchased from Stone Mania.  If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us at any time.  By placing an order through stonemania.co.uk (Stone Mania Ltd) you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to, all of our terms and conditions .

Contract for Sale

A contract will come into place when an order is placed through stonemania.co.uk for a piece of jewellery. The contract with us will not be contractually confirmed until you receive confirmation of your order in the form of an email.  This will be sent once a payment has been received through PayPal. These terms and conditions cannot be varied except by changes made by Stone Mania on the site, which we may make from time to time. In particular, nothing said by any representative of Stone Mania will operate as a variation to these terms and conditions or constitutes a legal representation on behalf of them.

Receipt of an Order

Payment for items purchased on the Stone Mania website must be received in full through PayPal before your order can be processed.  Once payment has been received, you will receive confirmation from us via email. This must be retained for your records.  Stone Mania reserves the right to refuse to supply any person for whatever reason. Orders are thoroughly inspected prior to being dispatched. All items are normally dispatched within seven working days from the time payment has been received.  Orders sent to us via email will not be accepted.

Prices & Availability of Goods

All prices are quoted in pounds sterling (GBP £) and any customs duties or levies in your destination country as a result of items being sent overseas, will be your responsibility.  Whilst we make every effort to ensure that prices and details on our website are accurate, data entry errors and other technical problems may result in inaccurate prices being shown.  In such cases we are not required to honour the price.  If you see any price which you believe to be inaccurate, please contact us to bring it to our attention.

Conformity of Goods

Although we make every effort to ensure pictures featured on our website are as accurate as possible, you may find some items appear to be slightly larger or smaller than they actually are so it is important to read and understand the measurements which are stated with each item being offered for sale.  Colours may also vary slightly which can be as a result of a computer monitor or the lighting under which an item was photographed. We cannot accept any responsibility for any variation in colour of a gemstone irrespective of how it has been caused.  As well as a photograph of the item being offered for sale, its dimensions and weight are also stated.  Please be sure to read 'Shopping Online' before placing an order.

Satisfaction Guarantee

Stonemania.co.uk guarantees your total satisfaction with any item of jewellery that you purchase from us as well as the standard of customer service.   If for any reason you are not entirely satisfied with your online purchase, we will offer a full refund (excluding ALL postage fees) providing the item/s are:

  • Returned to us within seven working days of the date you received your order
  • In the original packaging
  • In EXACTLY the same condition as when they were sent
  • That the purchase price does not exceed the value of £150 sterling

For hygiene reasons we do not exchange or refund earrings

Items Exceeding £250 sterling

Refunds will not be issued for any single item of jewellery over two hundred and fifty pounds sterling.  If you wish to return an item which exceeds this amount, we will offer to exchange the item for something of an equivalent value or alternatively issue a credit note which will be valid for three months from date of issue.

Returning an Item

If you need to return an item of jewellery to us which has been purchased through the stonemania.co.uk website, please send us an email advising us of the item/s that are being returned, when they were purchased and the reason for the return.  We will only discuss the return with the person who originally made the purchase.  Items must be returned within seven working days of the date they were received.  For ALL returns you will be liable for all postage fees. It is your responsibility to ensure items reach us in the exact condition as when dispatched. You will be held entirely responsible for any loss or damage which may occur during transit. We strongly recommend items are returned using Royal Mail's 'Special Delivery' service or an alternative courier service.  Upon receipt of a returned item, it will be thoroughly inspected and providing it is found to be in the exact condition as when it was dispatched, a refund (excluding ALL postage fees) or exchange will be arranged.

Defective and Damaged Items

In the unlikely event that you should receive a piece of jewellery from Stone Mania which is defective or damaged, please contact us immediately and return the item/s within seven working days of the date it/they were received. We will then endeavor to resolve any issues as quickly as possible by arranging a replacement or refunding the amount paid (including postage fees).  Please be aware that natural gemstones often have minor flaws, inclusions or marks which may be completely natural and as such, any such defect on or within a gemstone does not render it defective.  Should any such item be returned to us, we will gladly offer a full refund excluding all postage fees.

Accepted Methods of Payments

Payment for items purchased through the Stone Mania website may be made using UK credit and debit cards including but not limited to VISA, MasterCard, Switch, Maestro and American Express.  All payments are processed through PayPal.
